Edward Green Vintage Oxford
A super vintage pair of Edward Green Vintage Oxford cap-toe shoes in beautiful black calf leather from Edward Green – never out-of-place. They are in superb used condition overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos). The shoes come with a set of Edward Green dust bags and they are in an EG box, but it is not original for these particular shoes.
But, please remember, these are not new so do not bid on them if you want a pair of completely unmarked shoes – they will cost considerably more !!
The width fitting is ‘D’ – which is the ‘narrower-than-standard’ width fitting.
Beautifully proportioned and very versatile; the shoes were built on the 202 last.
The shoes feature close-channelled leather soles, calf leather uppers and full leather linings – plus all the hand-built quality that one expects from this top English shoemaker – gorgeous.
