A very fine (and rare) pair of Churchs Balmoral Oxford iconic Custom Grade cap-toe oxford shoes in beautiful brown suede leather. A lovely example of a Church’s classic – and a style that is rare to find in suede.

They are in excellent used condition, overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there (see photos).

Please note – the uppers are in lovely condition in real life, but suede shoes are very difficult for an amateur to photograph properly – without them looking a bit scruffy – because of the light and the nap of the suede.

In my opinion, although modern-day Church’s shoes are still very desirable, well-made and fashioned from first-class materials, they are not quite as exceptional as those from some years ago.

So, if you can find a pair of vintage Church’s in really nice condition then you are probably finding some of the nicest shoes around.

But, please remember, these are not new so do not bid on them if you want a pair of completely unmarked shoes – they will cost considerably more !!

The style is ‘Balmoral’ – a beautifully proportioned and elegant design – this pair were formed on the popular 73 Last.

The Churchs Balmoral Oxford width fitting is ‘G’ – which is the ‘wider-than-standard’ width fitting.
